Mercure Lisboa Almada Hotel, Almada

I had a pleasant stay at the Mercure hotel. The rooms were well-equipped and comfortable, but there was a delay during check-in. The service was exceptional, the staff being very helpful and kind. The location was convenient for my needs, although a bit far from the city or coast. The dining options were fresh and fulfilling, even though a bit pricey. Overall, a good value for the money.

The hotel's room setup was a bit inconvenient as it was generally made up late in the afternoon, and our room wasn't ready on time when we arrived. However, the staff were amazing and helpful. The location was not perfect but provided easy access to nearby attractions. The dining experience was hit or miss, with a wide variety of items available. The facility was average, lacking some essentials.

My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were very comfortable, cleaned daily, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff members were courteous and helpful. It was easy to get to Cacilhas by tram, and walking around old Almada was a pleasant diversion in the afternoon.

Upon arrival, our room with a wonderful view of the park was not ready despite our check-in time given, but it was eventually prepared for us, located on the highest floor with a super view of the Cristo Rei statue. The service was exceptional with knowledgeable and warm staff, offering secure parking and a perfect location for the university and public transport. The hotel's dining options provided a wide variety of items, although it needed more variety for the price paid. The location was somewhat depressing and run down in the surrounding area but easily accessible with a quiet atmosphere. Facilities were well-equipped but could be improved.
